Nadia finally got to experience the happiness she deserved. In 2016, she even showed everyone how she felt by expressing it on Twitter. She posted an image of 10-year-old Dylan with Martha Karolyi, the wife of her former coach. The Karolyis are truly the ones who helped Nadia come this far. According to her, that meeting made it feel like life has finally come “full circle”.

A couple of years after the Olympic Games that brought Bela Karolyi, Mary Lou Retton and Nadia Comaneci all together, the three of them met up. Retton posted this lovely photo on social media. The caption read, “Two of my heroes!” That was how everyone knew that there was no bad blood there.
