Time To Process
Once Chris finally returned from his deployment, the family desperately craved some much-needed quality-time. So they took this time to stock up on all the things they still needed for the baby and to start preparing the nursery. Natasha and Chris also took this precious time to do a maternity photo-shoot, and spend as much time as they could with their other three kids. This is exactly what Chris had been yearning for the entire time he was overseas. Still, life doesn’t always go to plan, and there was still another big issue looming over them.

While Chris really appreciated being able to enjoy these precious moments with his family, there was still something else weighing on the family, like an elephant in the room. You see, Chris was still in the Navy, so it was only a matter of time before he got his next deployment notice. The only question was when he would get the notice, and for how long he would be away. All the family could do was hope Chris would still be there for the birth of his next child.
