Time To Go
Nothing seemed to be going smoothly for Jon, and he had to embark on a long journey from his base to the US, via a series of grueling connecting flights. While some of this flights was delayed, he finally reached Germany to find out that the charter flight to the US was also canceled. So Jon was stranded in Germany for four entire days. The due date was becoming dangerously close, but Jon had to remain calm as he didn’t want to stress Megan out further.

Thankfully for Jon, his father had a few connections to the US senators in West Virginia. He was able to use his connections successfully and they helped Jon board a flight and finally make it home in the nick of time. After landing, it took just two days for his wife to go into labor, and June 7, 2012, Megan gave birth to their daughter at West Virginia University Children’s Hospital. They decided to name the baby girl Jaxon Lucas Keeney. The couple were overwhelmed with emotion, but still they still had no time to relax as the baby had to be immediately rushed to the operating room.
