The avid fans of Duck Dynasty had quite the shock when they got the news of the promise Jase made. They had a good reason to; after all, Jase once made a statement about how much his trademark beard meant to him in one of the episodes. He said, “There are two kinds of people without beards, children, and women, I am neither.” Does he still think the same way now that he has decided to shave everything off?

However, this wasn’t the first time Jase thought of the idea of going for a clean-shaven look. The Duck Dynasty star made a comment in an interview back in 2013 that he wanted to shave his beard after the show ended. It wasn’t for anything special but for the desire to go unnoticed. He then shared that he always had fans coming up to him so he thought that if the beard was gone then he can easily go unnoticed anywhere.
