The first stop for the puppies and the firefighters was the Humane Society in the area. Their greatest concern was their safety, of course. Who knew if they were sick, weak, undernourished or even on the verge of death. Time was of the essence.

After taking a look at the little pups, there was a response. They were all in stable and healthy condition. Not just that, they were all strong and sufficiently fed.It was at this point that the firefighters realized that their work had been completed.
