Slowly, the people involved in the fox rescue were beginning to piece together the puzzle of the missing mother fox and her abandoned babies. A theory that arose was that the mother actually gave birth to her young INSIDE the sewer grate!

While some might feel the need to feel sorry for these abandoned babies, there is a sliver of happiness that we can all feel. These little cubs might have been left to fend for themselves, but they were now being given rehabilitation treatment that they might never have received otherwise.
