Kansas – 32.4% Obesity Rate
In Kansas, we could eat food like “bierocks,” “lefse,” “zwieback,” and “loose meat sandwich.” However, these kinds of foods were not healthy. The Kansas Health Foundation claimed a considerable increase in the obesity rate in the year 2014 to 2015. Until this day, the percentage did not change. However, the state should still find a way to decrease the obesity rate.
Missouri – 32.5% Obesity Rate
Missouri was known for its toasted ravioli that was created by the famous St. Louis. It was the Americanized kind of Italian food. It might be tasty, but it was not healthy. The food might be the reason why there was a high obesity rate in that state. 32.5% of its population were overweight. The worst part was the 2/3 of the grownups were obese.
