Tennessee – 32.8% Obesity Rate
Tennessee was known for its fried food. In a classic restaurant in that state, their menu was filled with fried meals like catfish, fried pickles, fried chicken, and sweet potato fries. It was partnered with barbecue, cornbread, country ham, and many more. We might say that the people in that state were indulgent, so they had a large obesity rate.
Nebraska – 32.8% Obesity Rate
Nebraska was not known for its food. Most people in America did not know anything about the state aside from their expansive farmlands and corn. However, the government recognized that there were problems in their obesity rate. The government tried to solve the issue by implementing taxation on candies and soda beverages. However, it was not implemented. The authorities thought that giving nutritious meals in public schools would help decrease the obesity rate.
