Herb Williams: WNBA Coach
Herb Williams was a member of the NBA from 1981 to 1999. He did not, however, leave the world of basketball after retiring. The WNBA’s (Women’s National Basketball Association) New York Liberty are proud to have Herb as an assistant coach. He joined the franchise in 2015 and is still with them today.

Dirk Nowitzki: Saxophone Player
From 1998 to 2019, Germany’s Dirk Nowitzki played in the NBA for 21 seasons. He was the only player to spend 21 seasons with the same team before retiring about a month ago. During his time with the Dallas Mavericks, he also set the record for most points by a foreign-born player in NBA history. Dirk is a saxophone aficionado, and now that he has more free time, he can devote himself fully to his favorite pastime.
