Difficult Since Day One
It has been reported that the first day is always the most difficult for Anthony and Reggie. Reggie was afraid and panicked, so Anthony had to take him from the shelter to the front door. Reggie may not be off to the best start. Regardless, Anthony could tell something awful had happened to his new dog just by glancing into his brown eyes. There is agony inside him that will not go away soon. It will be a guessing game to figure out what happened to Reggie.

Nothing Works
Reggie has been staying with Anthony for two weeks. Anthony felt that nothing was going well for them, so he decided to return him to the shelter in the hopes that the new family would have better luck and make him happy. He stated: “When the two weeks were done, I knew it was time to take him back. I knew the shelter phone number would be among his old belongings, and I remembered leaving it in one of the boxes in the guest room.”
