When Kathy Griffin was a child, she appeared as the title character on the Brooke Shields sitcom Suddenly Susan. It was one of her first paid acting roles. Griffin was relatively unknown at the time, but she was still dissatisfied with the meager wages.
She found out later that she was the second-lowest-paid actor on the set, although she had a rather significant role. Griffin would not disclose the specific figures involved in the argument. Still, she stated that this has been a recurring theme throughout her professional life. She described herself as “extremely forthright” when it comes to asking for a raise, and she described the rejection as “brutal” when she is “just told, ‘No.'”

Halle Berry, an actress, and model is often regarded as one of the most attractive women in the entertainment industry. The actress has had a long-standing association with the renowned beauty company Revlon. Still, things haven’t always gone smoothly for the actress.
Once her work began to take off in Hollywood, she was recognized for Monsters Ball. Berry, who had a deal with Revlon, went to Revlon CEO Ron Perelman and requested a raise of more than $1 million. She informed Perelman that he “would have to pay [her] more now.” Perelman was reportedly enraged that she had asked in this manner and flatly refused her request, opting instead to stick with the $1.38 million compensation agreed upon in the first place.
