As they were accompanied by their lawyers, their group went on a few trials. The jury made a decision and declared all of them guilty. They were given the consequence of being imprisoned for a total of 25 to 30 years. It seemed like karma was a real thing because not only was he sentenced to jail, his mother also died at that time.

Even though his lawyer did everything he could do in order to get him out of jail or at least, lower the years he had been sentenced to, nothing happened and he still had to wait for 25 to 30 years before getting out of prison. Being the risk-taker he had always been, Walter planned an escape again. The first goal of the plan was for him to be transferred to a facility with minimum security so he could escape.
