Postcards
Amanda Reddy was a new homeowner. When she took out the baseboard in the kitchen of her 1910 Cape Cod home, she found a century-old surprise. There were postcards and other items hiding there! They went back to 1970 and 1909. The cards were all written to a lady by the name of Mayme Berneck. Amanda assumed that the postcards just fell behind, but they were all actually nailed to the surface.

While a Minnesota house was being renovated, a rare copy of Action Comics No. 1 was discovered in the wall. This 1938 Superman comic book was auctioned off for $175,000! The comic had been lying among newspapers used to insulate the walls of the home. The comic only got a grade of 1.5 out of 10 thanks to its detached back cover. In 2011, a near-mint copy with a grade of 9.0 out of 10 went for $2.16 million!
