Hidden Room
A Redditor by the name of NukeStorm purchased a house that came with a creepy room hidden in the corner of the attic. He was not told that there was an ‘extra’ room and discovered it as he moved his things into the house. Right away, he knew that this was not a regular room. For one thing, it was only four feet high and came with a fastened metal grate. When he opened the door, he found a small weird bed, a single light, and a wall covered with foam padding. The creepier thing about it was that there was no doorknob from the inside, so a person would not be able to get out of there unless the door was opened from the outside. Even worse, the house was situated in a sparsely populated area. If anyone had been screaming from there, no one would have heard and helped.

Amber and Ben Sessions thought that they hit the jackpot when they found a countryside home for only $180,000. They later found out that the five-bedroom house had a garter snake infestation. The issue was so serious that the ground sometimes felt like it was moving thanks to the hundreds of snakes. They got suspicious when they kept finding one snake after another. What made them feel even more nervous was hearing weird rustling sounds in the walls. Ben then discovered a siding panel but could not believe how many snakes came out of it after he opened it! The house was actually lying on a big snake hibernaculum. The old owners eventually realized that there was nothing that they could do about it and decided to put it up on the market. The Session family had only been there for three months and later filed for bankruptcy.
