Get ready to activate the flux compensators, because you’re going back to the future with this classic Gullwing model. Pick up some banana peels and grab a bottle of soda. The DeLorean DMC, the model that Doc Brown turned into a time machine, is actually about time. Drug trafficking charges against the company’s founder led to the DeLorean Motor Company filing for bankruptcy in 1982, but not before 9,000 units were produced-more than two-thirds of which would still be on the road-even though the DeLorean was also so popular due to its movie fame.

25. Citroën 2CV Sahara

Year(s): 1948-1990
Current value: 99,500 US dollars*

The Citroën 2CV Sahara was the closest the French car company came to producing its own version of the Land Rover. Conceived before the Second World War, this 4×4 could not go into production until a few years after its end due to unfavorable circumstances. The four-wheel drive Sahara had separate engines for the front and rear of the car. This gave it additional power to get out of rough terrain if necessary. A converted Citroën 2CV Sahara with twin engines was sold on eBay in 2016 for less than 100,000 US dollars.
