“It’s been a big adjustment to be away from our parents and be away from Iowa, but I think we’ve all welcomed it and just really created new friendships and met some amazing people in a new situation,” Kelsey McCaughey said in her TODAY interview. It could be a big change for everyone, not just for Kelsey but also for her siblings. Leaving home with your family after spending your whole life, 24/7, isn’t something you can easily leave behind.

Natalie “Smarty Pants” McCaughey
It’s no secret the McCaughey septuplets did not all have safe lives when they were young. Among such, Natalie is one. She and her sister Alexis had to be fed by a pump when they were young and had severe reflux. But that didn’t impede either of them from living life. Natalie, among the other septuplets, is now known as the “Smarty Pants.” The reason why she was called by her other siblings smarty-pants was because of her desire to excel in her studies.
