There is an old saying about how curiosity killed the cat. Luckily, it simply put this feline to sleep. The photo shows that she dozed off as she looked out the window. We wonder if she was planning to bird watch but failed to find anything interesting out there. The owner of the cat placed her by the window, which honestly looks like a great place for a nap. Doesn’t she look like she is ready for a massage? We wonder if this was the case. Maybe she was waiting for her weekly cat massage when this was shot.

As nocturnal animals, porcupines tend to be more active at nighttime. They try to catch some Z’s in the day. This little fellow fell asleep while he was stretching out on a tree trunk in the air. How cute is that? Even though it might sound like a weird sleeping spot to you, these animals like to sleep in trees. This sounds ideal on hot summer days! He chose the best spot since it is shaded. In reality, this is actually a very smart plan as the altitude makes him safe from predators such as bears, coyotes, and wolves. Even though the porcupine is much smaller for them, this animal makes up for its size with smarts.
