The city has been struggling with a terrible opioid crisis. As a matter of fact, it has been named the overdose capital of America. In 2008, a report also revealed that it was the unhealthiest city in the country. Yikes.

There is a prediction that the 2,780 septic tanks in the city will eventually stop functioning properly because of the climbing sea levels. This means that wastewater ends up in places that it should not be. Not a single person out there wants to hear such a thing!
