The Ornament
She spotted the ornament lying on a shelf with the rest of the blown glass offerings at this thrift store. You see, she had a soft spot for these objects. However, what drew her in even more was the fact that it was in her favorite color: blue. Priscilla picked it up and looked at its price tag. She saw that it was only $2, which sounded more than fair to her. Right away, she grabbed it and paid for it at the counter.

Too Cheap
In general, thrift stores offer items at much lower prices than retail stores. However, $2 for a blown glass ornament is an even better deal than most. It seemed too good to be true, so Priscilla wondered if there was a catch. After inspecting it, she could not find a fault anywhere. She even noticed that it was made with a lot of glass and was quite heavy. This meant that it was not brittle or fragile.
