Marshall Eriksen – Columbia University
Marshall may have met Lily and Ted at Wesleyan University in Connecticut, but he himself attended Columbia Law School. He had big dreams of working for the Natural Resource Defense Council (NRDC) because he’s a huge environmentalist at heart. Let’s remember folks that he goes on to accept a judgeship and in the final season, we see him go on to be elected into the New York State Supreme Court. Boom, lawyered.

Carrie Mathison – Princeton University
The intense Carrie Mathison, portrayed by the brilliant Claire Danes, went to Princeton no less. She ended up getting her BA in Arabic Language and Literatures and then went on to land a job with the CIA. All the while suffering from bipolar disorder. That’s one smart woman that we’re proud to know onscreen. You think she’ll ever go on to get an online masters degree? You never know.
