March 2007 is when Dunkin’ Donuts announced Rachael Ray as their celebrity endorser – especially when it comes to coffee as Ray has denied being able to make coffee by herself. Dunkin’ Donuts asked Ray to star in a commercial to promote their iced coffee, she accepted. And that’s where the trouble began. Ray was in Portland, Oregon, standing in front of the Golden Pioneer statue with cherry blossoms surrounding her. Sounds like a nice scene, right? WRONG.
