Once Upon A Time
During the course of this enchanted show, we watch as the characters’ stories play out, especially that of the love story of Emma and the villain-turned-hero, Captain Hook. Then in the fifth season, Emma turns into the Dark One, and she also inadvertently turns Hook into a dark one, to save his life. In order for Emma to eliminate the darkness and thus protect her loved ones, she had to run a sword through Hook. Thus killing the person they love for the greater good and breaking all of hearts in one fatal swoop.

But not long after they wed, Michael suddenly dies due to complications sustained from a gunshot wound, of which he initially survived at the end of season two. His death shocked everyone as we were all led to believe that he would come out of surgery alive.
