The students were excited to go outside in the good weather, and the principal, who approved of Professor Hemmington’s methods, didn’t hesitate to allow it. He knew that the teacher and the children would never be too far apart. However, when the clock struck three, panic gripped the whole school. Calling the Police
Principal Clarkson was the first to call the police, worried that they wouldn’t just be late. He preferred to act preventively, taking the decision not to risk it. After giving the police all the details about where Mr. Hemmington might have taken the students, two officers were sent to look for them. However, despite the intense search, everything seemed to be in vain, with no sign of the disappearance.
