One would think of the Wizard of Oz when they hear or see a pair of ruby red slippers. Which begs the question in one particular scene: Where oh where did Dorothy’s iconic slippers go? It happens during the scene where the trees began chucking a barrage of apples at the Scarecrow and Dorothy. Sure, the black slippers happened to be more comfortable, and there weren’t many editing tools in 1939. However, in August 2005, the ruby red slippers were stolen from the Judy Garland Museum! Thankfully, the FBI clicked their heels and retrieved the shoes thirteen years later in July 2018.

If one would resist Julia Robert’s gaze for a good moment, they would notice that one moment she’s eating a croissant, and in the next, a pancake? Make up your minds! In the first meeting and walk between Vivian Ward and Edward Lewis, they made a detour containing a smorgasbord of scrumptious breakfast food. Despite its varied menu, inquisitive fans noticed a ton of continuity errors in the scene: Roberts ate a bagel, ate a pancake, took two bites, and yet when the pancake reappeared it only had one bite taken out of it! Then again, no one did pay much attention because Julia Roberts is wearing a robe. Quite an eye-catcher, no?
