A Possible Disaster
Dog owners are familiar with how rowdy their pets can get when they see a new dog, cat, or any other creature. The excitement of seeing something interesting builds up until they reach a frantic state. Since the possum had to have a unique smell, chances are high that the Puli’s would get overexcited and hyperactive. Dogs and possum are not exactly known to be the best of friends. Most of the time, dogs would bark loudly or chase after possums if they see one outside. This possum mistaking Kato’s fur as a substitute for its mother was something different. If Kato had not yet realized there was a possum on his back, Sally’s other dog Hugo certainly would.

What Next?
Sally prepared for the worst when the two Puli pups became aware that there was something strange. However, the reaction of Hugo and Kato was far from what she expected. Even after the dogs discovered the creature attached to Kato’s back, they simply ignored it. Instead of barking frantically or attacking the baby possum, Sally’s dogs didn’t pay it any attention. The two pups were more interested in other things.
