Flipped Ends
Okay ladies, this one is pretty important. Women over 40 tend to almost always look far more feminine with mid-length hair that has a youthful and lively movement on the ends. If you have stiff and overdone volume to your hair then you’ll only look “outdated.” If you have medium length hair, the flipped ends are for you.
The best and easiest way you can avoid the stiffness is to use a round brush to subtly flip the ends of your hair, alternating between flipped up and flipped under as you blow dry. Pretty simple!
Braided Crown
A braided crown creates a subtle but rather effective pull on the facial skin for a faux lifted look so forget the face lift, just get a crown. If you’re not sure how to get the look then follow along with these instructions – it’s quite simple to follow. Part your hair, wet or dry, right down the middle and into two pigtails, secure each end with a hair tie. Then remove the ties in order to braid each tail, then re-secure the ends with hair ties. Next, you need to take a braided pigtail and cross it over the top of your head to the opposite side. Finally, secure with hairpins and do the exact same with the other braid.
