As time went on, the two of them would only contact each other through annual Christmas cards. With the lack of contact, it was hard to believe that they used to see each other every single day. Of course, they had new friends now that they were older. However, the bond they had was still very special.

Growing Up
Time continued to tick. After a few years, the Christmas cards did not get very sentimental anymore. Aside from that, they no longer arrived frequently. It was no one’s fault, of course. The kids were just growing up and, sadly, drifting apart. They had a great time in the past but had to focus on the present.
