Al’s shtick included seating himself comfortably in the family living room while reading his dirty magazines, with his wife and children in front of him. Do you think Al ever stopped to consider the fact that Kelly could get featured in a magazine like the ones he enjoyed ‘reading’? Probably not, but that is the reason we like him. The audience were attracted to the show because of that – Al’s secret charm. The fact that he had these little flaws, which were so wrong, made the audience think he was hilarious.

It kept changing from 9764 to 9674 Jeopardy Lane. Even though it is a small change, it is still quite hilarious to think about! The house numbers and the street Jeopardy Lane in Chicago are all fictitious.
