Telemetry Nurse
These nurses work around the clock to care for patients who need constant observation and attention. They are also referred to as progressive care nurses. Telemetry nurses are trained to monitor vital signs using the necessary technological tools. They have to be able to understand and interpret the data accordingly. The patients these nurses attend to are usually in critical condition.

These are the nurses who organize and supervise what happens on the floor, who is assigned to which patients etc. They ensure care is spread evenly and where necessary. Often these nurses are also responsible for the recruitment and retention of nurses. As a nude manager one is not usually affiliated in any direct patient care, it is a field to progress in to once one has gained experience it is an option to move up into this field.
