The Bellevue Hospital School Of Nursing
Began in 1873 and located in New York City, the Bellevue Hospital School of Nursing is the first-ever nursing school established in the US, based on the principles of Florence Nightingale. This one-year program school happens to be a trailblazer for the opening of other nursing schools, such as the New England Hospital for Women and the Massachusetts General Hospital. This trend began a critical point in the world of nursing in the US.
