Burt Reynolds – Football

Burt Reynolds rose to the top on his own merits and is now considered as a cultural icon in the United States. He played halfback for the team while attending Florida State University on a football scholarship before becoming well-known. His first year went smoothly, but his second year was cut short by a knee injury. He made an effort to re-join, but his injuries made him sluggish, and he came to the conclusion that sports were no longer for him. He grew interested in acting while taking part in school plays, so that was only a detour. Following a series of smaller roles, Reynolds starred in the financially successful films “The Longest Yard” and “The Cannonball Run.”
