Tom Billington, also known as the Dynamite Kid, has a sad story. In the ‘90s, he was one of the most popular wrestlers and was thought to be a hero by many children. In 1996, he retired and suffered many health issues. In 2013, he had a severe stroke and basically became a shut-in. He also had injuries from his wrestling days. Ouch.

Matt Cappotelli
Matt Cappotelli is another wrestler who became famous thanks to WWE Tough Enough. Sadly, the former OVW Heavyweight Champion received a cancer diagnosis. His brain tumor kept growing, so he got a risky two-hour operation. It was only partially successful because it was too risky to operate on part of the tumor. He ended up dying in 2018, partly because of this.
